Using OKTA to authenticate 2Factor Authorization (2FA) for using Concur
Due to a rash of fraud nationally, Concur has switched to using 2-factor authentication (2FA) when you log in. (This is NOT an NFI-initiated change - we have no option but to follow this new procedure)Following is a help guide to assist you in going through the 2FA process using the OKTA app when you log in to Concur. Upon logging into Concur the first time since the switchover to 2FA, you will be confronted with a screen telling you to download an authenticator app and scan a QR code. You don’t need to download any app, you likely already have it on your phone.
Everyone at NFI who logs into the network has already had to
download the Okta Verify app on their phones for NFI’s 2FA program. Find the
app in your phone, and launch it, it looks like this:
Upon launch, click the Plus button at the top:
Choose Other program:
You are then given a screen that allows you to scan the QR
code, please do so.
Once you do so, you will be given the authentication code that the Concur login screen is looking for. Type that code into Concur and you will now be logged in. Ex:
