Below is a breakdown of what each team handles and general procedures for purchases and repairs.

STRATEGIC SOURCING TEAM REQUESTS
Large asset items listed above that are handled by the STRATEGIC SOURCING TEAM are ordered through Coupa.
PRIOR to completing the REQUISITION in Coupa, work with the Purchasing Team to get pricing from multiple sources and check for availability.
STEPS for buying MHE through Purchasing Team
- Fill out the MHE REQUEST FORM using the link below. Submit a separate MHE Request Form for each type of equipment needed.
- The Purchasing team will advise best purchase option and then a REQUISITION can be created in COUPA
- Submit the REQUISITION for approval in COUPA.
- Once the requisition is approved, the PO will be sent to the supplier.

SOLUTIONS DESIGN & ENGINEERING TEAM REQUESTS
New racking requests, changes to racking, conveyor systems, robotics and gantry installations are handled by the SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEERING.
- Racking requests should be sent to Jared Davis at jared.davis@nfiindustries.com
- Conveyor/Gantry/Automation requests should be sent to Sojith Matthew at sojith.mathew@nfiindustries.com
ASSET MANAGEMENT REQUESTS
Motorized Material Handling Equipment such as Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks, and Battery/Battery Chargers orders should be requested through the Asset Management team.
- Send an email request to distribution_assets@nfiindustries.com and include the specifics of what is needed along with the following details: GM/TM name and contact number, PC #, Facility Address, date needed.
MAINTENANCE TEAM REQUESTS - Material Handling Equipment Only
NFI Operations personnel should contact the Forklift Repair group to schedule needed repairs. This can be done by either e-mail or by calling during business hours of 8:00AM - 5:00 PM eastern time Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- The contact info is ForkliftRepair@nfiindustries.com or 1-877-720-7775.
- When e-mailing ForkliftRepair@nfiindustries.com, the subject line should include the unit number that needs repair and in the body of the e-mail include the problem description, location of the unit, and the current hours reading.
- When Forklift repair receives the request, they will setup service with the closest qualified repair facility/manufacturer.
DO NOT CALL OR E-MAIL A VENDOR DIRECTLY TO REQUEST SERVICE. If help is required outside of regular hours, call or e-mail Driver Services.
