How to Enter Car Allowance Mileage

The way concur is designed, if you have a car allowance and an agreement that includes mileage reimbursement, you have to enter in your miles as if it is a Company Car. To do this, you will have to 'register' your personal car as a company car the first time (there is NO info collected on your car, it is just a label). 

To register your car so you can claim mileage, create an expense report, then add an expense and choose COMPANY CAR. You will receive a warning that you have to register your company car. Continue to register and simply type in MY CAR and choose company car (See below example).



After you complete and save the car registration you can continue with your expense report. The odometer reading does not have to be accurate, you simply add in numbers which the difference between the two numbers equal your total claimed miles. Please see the example below.
